Add PDX Leis to your phone

This is a web app. You do not download it from the App Store or Google Play. Open this site, then pin it so it sits on your home screen like any other app.

Android

1. Open Chrome. Do not use the Instagram or TikTok in-app browser.
2. Go to the PDX Leis site.
3. Tap the three dots in the top-right.
4. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
5. Name it PDX Leis and tap Add.
6. The graffiti icon appears on your home screen. Open it like any other app.

Samsung Internet: menu → Add page to → Home screen.

iPhone and iPad

1. Open Safari. Chrome on iPhone cannot add a proper Home Screen app.
2. Go to the PDX Leis site.
3. Tap the Share button (square with an arrow pointing up).
4. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
5. Name it PDX Leis. Tap Add.
6. The icon sits on your Home Screen with the Get Lei'd artwork.

If you do not see Add to Home Screen, swipe the share sheet up. It is often lower in the list.

Windows PC

1. Open Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
2. Go to the PDX Leis site.
3. Chrome: tap the install icon in the address bar, or menu → Cast, save and share → Install page as app.
4. Edge: address-bar app icon, or menu → Apps → Install this site as an app.
5. Name it PDX Leis. It appears in the Start menu and can be pinned to the taskbar.

Mac

1. Open Safari.
2. Go to the PDX Leis site.
3. Safari 17 or newer: File → Add to Dock, or Share → Add to Dock.
4. Older Safari: bookmark the site or keep a desktop shortcut.
5. Chrome on Mac: menu → Cast, save and share → Install page as app.

If the icon looks wrong

• Delete the old Home Screen icon.
• Refresh this page.
• Add to Home Screen again.

iPhone sometimes keeps the old icon overnight. Adding again after a refresh usually fixes it.
